[mythtv-users] GLX + nvidia drivers on FC4 (via Jarod's guide)

I recently rebuilt my system (I had picked up some gremlins from 
changing my cards input settings and felt like I was due for some 
tinkering anyway) but am having problems getting GLX enabled on my FX5200.

I've been following Jarod's guide, and have seen the posts in the 
archives about people having trouble getting GLX enabled using the 
nvidia (as opposed to nv) driver, but there didn't seem to be any good 
solution other than simply disabling GLX. That certainly works as a 
stopgap measure, but I feel like there has to be a way to get them both 
working.

Has anybody found an acceptable solution to the issue?
