Did you have to do anything special to open MPEG2-TS files with
avidemux2? I try to open the .nuv file and get some errors (any .nuv,
regardless if it's HD or SD). I'll post the errors when I get home but
basically it says that it can't open the file.
I've triend mencoder using the example DVD command but I end up with a
lot of skipped frames (1 to 2 every second) and the resulting video
seems jerky. I haven't spent a lot of time yet boning up on the
gazillion (is that a number?) suboptions. I was overwhelmed by the volume.
Thanks again Steve. You are a wealth of information. Thanks to you, I
was able to get my DCT6412 working at almost 100% (I have to screw
around with my setup for a while if the PC or the DCT get powered off).
Just out of curiosity, which distro do you run Myth on?
Next step, which I hope will be this weekend, is going to .19. I
haven't done so yet due to time constraints.
