except for HDTV and the main movie channels (HBO1 Showtime1 etc) no
other channels broadcast with 5.1. Comedy Central won't magically be
5.1 because you have optical out, they don't broadcast in 5.1.

I am interested in this Audigy with svideo input though! must google...
