[mythtv-users] Upgraded my FC4 Box to .19, and lirc is broke

I'm not exactly sure why, but my remote won't respond in my frontend. I
performed the kernel upgrade, as well as the kernel module upgrade.
Everything is working great, except for lirc. I used

I had to use it as more of a reference, as there were some critical
steps left out (I may add them in once I get my setup running perfect
again).

According to a '# /sbin/service lircd status' the process is still running
fine, and when I run irw, it sits there waiting to spit out commands, but
when I press buttons on the remote, nothing displays. I've tested the
batteries, so I know it's not that. Is there a change that has to be made in
modprobe.conf like there was for the ivtv upgrade? Any help would be great.
I'm using the receiver that came with my PVR-250, along with the 250 remote.
