[mythtv-users] PVR-350 Closed Captioning

I'm not seeing Closed Captioning on my PVR-350.

I had some free time today, so I finally updated my entire myth box.  
Everything's current including ivtv at 0.4.3 (and kernel modules).

I do see the vbi devices in /dev/:

I also can cat /dev/vbi and see ?????????

???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? 
???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? 
I@???????? when there should be CC's. I'm guessing this is right?

I've turned on NTSC closed captioning in mythtv-setup (I've always  
had it on since it was an option). And I've set the front end to  
always display CC as well as manually select CC1 from the menu, but  
still nothing. I even tried a different OSD theme.. just in case. No  
joy. Any ideas?
