[mythtv-users] most resolutions cause nv tv-out to get chopped

I am trying to use the standard ntsc resolution (720x480) for output, but
the nvidia tv-out is causing a large portion of the screen to be outside
of the viewable range.

For testing I don't have overscan enabled, I can see black borders on my
TV (which normally I would use overscan to get rid of).

The edge of the actual X screen would be beyond the edge of the svideo
output (edge of the black border on my tv). There is actually a lot of
information lost and as such I can't use most resolutions.

I have used 800x600, and 1024x768 without this issue. However 720x480 and
640x480 don't work. I really want to use 720x480.

In addition to using the standard modelines, I have tried these (outputted
by the gtf utility):

Modeline "640x480_59.94" 23.83 640 656 720 800 480 481 484 497 -HSync
+Vsync
Modeline "720x480_59.94" 26.69 720 736 808 896 480 481 484 497 -HSync
+Vsync
Modeline "800x600_59.94" 38.12 800 832 912 1024 600 601 604 621 -HSync
+Vsync
Modeline "1024x768_59.94" 64.04 1024 1080 1184 1344 768 769 772 795
-HSync +Vsync
Modeline "720x480_60.00" 26.72 720 736 808 896 480 481 484 497 -HSync
+Vsync

I have tried both 59.94 hz and 60 hz refresh rates, but that doesn't seem
to matter. Also it doesn't seem to matter if I use the built-in modelines
or the custom ones (except for doing 720x480, which of course I need to
use a custom modeline for or X won't accept it at all).

I have also tried 7667, 7676, and 8178 driver versions.

Any ideas?
