Which client? How?

I have been trying to run softsqueeze on my myth box but there seems  
to be some sort of conflict over who has access to the soundsystem,  
so I have to kill the myth frontend to get sound from softsqueeze and  
vice versa.  I'd love to get a more myth-integrated client, because  
IMHO the slimserver web interface is the best I've seen.
