I just installed MythTV on a Fedora Core 4 box.
Followed the instructions from Jarod Wilson.
The front end and back end are on the same box.
Got my channel lineup working.
I can watch live TV.
But I have no audio at all.
The sound card is C-Media PCI CMI8738.
The audio out of the TV tuner card is wired to the line-in of sound card.
As per Jarod's sound test, I did:
/usr/bin/aplay /usr/share/sounds/KDE_Startup.wav
Playing WAVE '/usr/share/sounds/KDE_Startup.wav' : Signed 16 bit Little
Endian, Rate 22050 Hz, Mono
YES, I can clearly hear this test wav file from the speakers.
I just cannot get any audio on Live TV.
Please help. I don't know what to do.
