[mythtv-users] Anybody build the usb-ir-boy?

Well, I didn't notice that the website, docs, and code for it were
really lacking in English and updates until after I ordered some
parts. Oh well.

So I put one together, flashed the HC908 part, and plugged it into the
USB. Alright... it shows up in /var/log/messages.log as a low speed
device. Good!

However, the kernel module for it won't compile cleanly without
commenting out two lines (I don't know if they were critical). The
compiled module loads, but I can't get the device and the module to
figure out each others' presence.

Anybody done this before?
