I've got some extra information now.  I forgot to mention that I'm
running mythtv-0.19_p9163-r1:

There were some junk .mpg and .png files in /mnt/store.  I deleted them,
and I can watch LiveTV.  When I hit the up and down arrows to change
channels, the guide at the bottom of the screen changes to reflect the
new channel, but the channel itself does not change.  I can change
channels completely by typing in a channel number and hitting enter, but
the chanel number (as I'm typing it in) doesn't last very long, as it
gets replaced with video behind where it appears.  Also, myfrontend is
saving every thing I watch on LiveTV.  I can't remember where I set the
buffer size.  How do I do that?
