Hello again, 

this is a reply to my older thread - unfortunately, I deletet the messages and 
cannot actually "reply". 

I had the problem of jerky live tv with my hauppauge Nova-T PCI. 

I got the hint to try pause/play, that "fixes" the jerky video on live tv, and 
I got a hint about the firmware (that seems not to apply, I am using a PCI 
dvb-s card, please correct my if I am wrong). 

But now, and this is why I am writing, it seems to be solved: I have changed 
the little balcony antenna for one on the roof with direct visibility to the 
emitter - much better signal and the stutter seems to be gone. I just found 
out yesterday, I hope it stays like that now. 

Doug said the developers were not able to track the problem down; maybe this 
information can help a little. 

Thanks again for the support! This is a great software (I say that even though 
I am just starting to explore the possibilities), thanks to all the 
developers, too.
