[mythtv-users] Help getting my mythtv box connected to my Sony TV

Okay I managed to figure out my problem. Just wanted everyone to know because I think
it will affect anyone with a TV that does not report its EDID correctly. Everyone thanks so
much for your support. I used the modeline and information posted in the modeline database
on the mythtv web site and it still didn't work. The problem is with the new version of the
NVIDIA driver.
Instead of using
Option "IgnoreEDID" "1"
You have to replace that with
Option "UseEDID" "FALSE"
Option "ExactModeTimingsDVI" "TRUE"
I originally had the UseEDID line but not the second line. The driver will still refuse
to display the modeline for my TV until I add the second line.
Thanks again,
Josh
