[mythtv-users] mythlcdserver fix for LCDproc 0.5.0 - how?

Hey,

As a relative Linux/MythTV newbie, I was wondering how to fix  
mythlcdserver to work with lcdproc 0.5.0 without install 0.20 SVN  
versions of MythTV? Fix mentioned here:

I remember seeing this discussed previously, but can't find any info  
on it for the life of me!
