[mythtv-users] MythVideo & mpeg transport streams - seek problems

I generally record hi def transport streams.  They play back
wonderfully in the Watch Recordings interface.

However, when I play the same files back in MythVideo (set to the
Internal player), seeking takes a LONG time (it feels like > 30
seconds to skip forward by 30 seconds).  It also underestimates the
length of the video, so when it thinks it is 20 minutes in, it is
actually 1 minute in.

Any idea if there is work being done to improve this?  I like saving
the files in the original ATSC broadcast, so I would prefer to not
transcode the files at all if possible.
