Your present video card should do what you want, assuming that it has  
two separate outputs.

As with all things in life, there are some limitations and conditions.

You will need to install the nVidia driver for it, and follow the  
instructions in the README that accompanies that driver.

How you go about installing the driver depends on what distro you are  
using, some have pre-compiled versions (FC) or special installation  
methods (Gentoo). For others the nVidia-supplied installation program  
will do the job.

Check your distro's docs or nVidia's site for more info, or post your  
system details here and get more detailed information.
