My receiver is capable of handling 32khz streams. It's correctly
handled everything I've ever thrown at it from a multitude of various
devices. Unfortunately it only displays the sample-rate for PCM
streams, so I can't confirm that my DCT-6200 is passing the same 32khz
AC3 stream out its digital-coax port. I can confirm that channels
that give MythTV a 32khz AC3 stream, when played back directly from
DCT6200 -> receiver the receiver is getting a AC3 2.0 stream, not a
PCM stream, and I doubt the receiver is doing real-time AC3 encoding
at 48khz for the digital-coax port, and at 32khz for the firewire
port.

It shouldn't matter to my problem, but in case it helps out at all my
receiver is a Harmon Kardon AVR135.
