Hi. I was using Kubuntu 5.10 with Mythtv working at 100%. After an upgrade
to Kubuntu 6.06, it stopped working. There's no way I can get audio from
it (but video is working). MPlayer is working fine.

Mythtv is Version: 0.18.1-5ubuntu3.

Sound card is:
0 [V8235          ]: VIA8233 - VIA 8235
                     VIA 8235 with ALC655 at 0xe400, irq 201

Video card is:
Multimedia controller: Philips Semiconductors SAA7130 Video Broadcast
Decoder (rev 01)

I already configured the mixer levels in such way that

arecord -D hw:0,1 -r 48000  -f S16_LE | aplay -

produces the expected sound.

When I try to watch the LiveTV, I get this on the frontend debug (running
with aoss):
2006-06-06 02:52:34.934 ReadStringList timeout (quick).
2006-06-06 02:52:36.365 RemoteFile::Read(): No response from control

On the backend I get this:

Followed by a bunch of lines like the last one.

I'm NOT using saa7134-alsa (I tried but it only got worse).
