[mythtv-users] is mythtv smart enough to do this (overlap/back-to-back) with recordings?

Another way to go about it would be to have two entries to the same file
via a hardlink. You could have each entry to the file have its own name,
and deletion of one would not delete the other. Only by deleting both
file entries would the data be deleted. This would allow you to then
specify a start and end "bookmark" for each recording, associated with
the filename, and minimize the overall changes required in Myth (I would
think...)

Just an idea. I don't have the problem, personally. I have enough tuners
that it isn't an issue for me :)
