[mythtv-users] two questions about myth

I'm looking to put together a MythTV box as I'm running into limitations
on my ReplayTV boxes. I currently have 3 ReplayTV 5000 series each with
a 200GB HD in them. They work great overall...but with bigger drives and
lots of shows...browsing a guide on a remote unit causes stability issues
on the replay you are watching. It's a regular enough problem that I
don't want my primary TV to use a ReplayTV DVR anymore.

BUT....they are still very useful, store shows in a format I can extract,
resolve conflicts nicely, enable me to get missed shows on the Poopli
network, so I don't want to take them out of the picture. I think they
would make great back-end boxes. DVArchive exists and would allow me to
connect to them from a Myth box...but that seems like such a clunky
solution. So, my 2 questions (1 Replay related and the other not):

1. Is there a module/program/script of any sort that will allow MythTV to
browse a ReplayTV remote guide and watch shows from it?

2. I have DirecTV D10 receivers with the Low Speed Data port. The
ReplayTV's are currently controlling these boxes through the serial
connection (which is GREAT, I had occasional problems with IR Blasters
getting the signal through to the box for channel changes, annoying). Can
Myth be configured to work with the low speed data port on these boxes (I
can't seem to find any documentation on this).

Thanks,
Frank
