[mythtv-users] Disappearing recordings

Among other shows, I record Ebert & Roeper on a weekly basis.  Sometimes
I watch it and sometimes not.  For the past few weeks there has been no
evident recording and I just assumed that the show had not aired.  On
Saturday I was passing thru the TV room and saw that the show was
recording.  The recordings menu was up and Ebert and Roeper was red.
When I looked for it last night, it was gone.  I looked back at the
schedules for the past few weeks, and the show did indeed air.  

The show is stored in my Recording Profile (Joe) which is not shown on
the default screen.  It is set to record "any time on any channel."  The
only shows with a higher priority are not on the air during the summer.
While losing Ebert and Roeper is no great hardship, if I lose The
Closer, or Stargate: SG1, or (god forbid) Pokemon, then there will be a
gnashing and a wailing.

How might I troubleshoot this?
