I have built a couple of custom kernels in the past when I was using 
Openna Linux, so I will give it a go. I have located the wiki page that 
explains it perfectly for FC4.

Off to bed now but will give it a go over the weekend....if I can get 
away from some of the jobs my wife has planned :)
