[mythtv-users] Tuning PVR-150

I have Myth running, but I cannot tune any channels with ivtv tools or 
xawtv or KDETV. Can anybody give me some help on tuning my PVR-150 card?

I'm not sure I have ivtv installed correctly. I see "...tuner: type set
to 4 (NoTuner) by ivtv i2c driver" in the dmesg output which is in full
below.

I can do the following and I see a snowy picture without sound:
cat /dev/video0 > my.mpg
mplayer ./my.mpg

I don't understand how to use ivtvctl to tune channels from the man
page. Any step by step instructions available?

I tried on Windows and I do get a picture with Ulead Movie Factory, so
the card must be working...but I really want to use the card under Linux.
