[mythtv-users] Myth HD - requirements?

I use both firewire from a DCT6200 and an HD5000 with QAM. With the HD5000,
I can only get OTA channels from the cable, however, I get *all* channels
I'm subscribed to with firewire. Although, I do get Baltimore OTA channels
with the HD5000 which I don't get with firewire. The Baltimore channels
aren't normally available here from Comcast, so I was pleasantly surprised
by that. I live in the DC area.

Not here in Albuquerque. Comcast encrypts *EVERYTHING* that they can. The
*only* unencrypted channels are the channels available in HD OTA.

Comcast here, also completely disables the Firewire port on their cable
boxes. They claim too many people were using that port to pirate HBO
movies.

Also, two channels I can get in HD OTA, are not available via Comcast.
Comcast claims those two channels want too much money for the HD feed.
