[mythtv-users] select timeout - ivtv driver has stopped responding

I haven't found an answer so far. I did however get a sense that it's
specific chipset that causes the problem so I pulled my old server
board from the closed and I moved all my backend gear to it. It's been
several days now that the box is running without any problems.

Setup with a problem:
Gigabyte dual Athlon MP 2400+ with AMD chipset

Setup without a problem:
Tyan dual P3 500Mhz with PIIX4 chipset

Both tested with PVR500 & HD3000, 2x40Gb in mirror and 1x200Gb +
1x300Gb in LVM).

I have watched the dual P3 500Mhz record two SD shows on PVR500 and
one HD show on HD3000 all at the same time while watching an HD show
on the frontend and cpu utilization doesn't go above 30%.

Anybody wants to by a Gigabyte mobo with dual Athlon MP 2400+ :-) Just kidding.
