You could change mythrename.pl to rename to:
"This_is_a_TV_programme.mpg"
instead of:
"This is a TV programme.mpg"
Spaces in filenames is very often a source of problems
down the road, and underscores are really not too
horrible.

Sorry, I got sick of hunting for RPMs a few years ago
and went to Gentoo instead. I'm not evangelizing
Gentoo but it does make things easier for me
personally.
Streaming at configurable bitrates is great, however,
it requires backend CPU power. Normal frontends allow
the backend to simply cache PVRx50 encoded data and
then pipe it throgh NFS. To stream transcoding is
almost more than my low power backend can handle, 60%
cpu utilisation. I'm glad that streaming isn't the
norm, as I couldn't support more than 2 client
frontends that way. The current, non-streaming mode
allows me to easilly support 5 frontends watching
video in parallel. However, it would be great to have
MythStream more fully integrated, and to be able to
stream (pseudo)Live TV with commercial skip etc.
