The WD drive is a fine drive; I'm currently using one, but not for MythTV.
Something that may or may not be an issue is that WD drives (at least in the
US) only have a 1 year warranty.  They do offer an extension to 3 years for
a nominal fee.  Seagate drives have a 5 year warranty.
