I'm FerntreeGully, and reinstalled my server 2 days ago with FC4
(2.6.17-1.2141_FC4) running an avermedia DVB-761... Ant. pointing to the
dandenongs - no problems with any channel sbs too - I tried to record
Mythbusters Monday but got soccer :o(.

Was (previously <3days) FC3 with svn of myth and all was OK too.

Using "distro" installs (yum install of everything - kernel,
kernel-devel, updates, and mythtv-suite) - modprobe dvb-bt8xx was distro
too. 
Firmware: rpm -Ui

Hope my "no problems here" helps narrows your problems troubleshooting.

BTW: had fun with tv_grab_au - see other threads - but now working too.

Hello,

I recently upgrade various parts of my system (Debian Sarge to Debian
Etch - including 2.6.8 to 2.6.17 - but same version of Mythtv). So far
so good. Unfortunately, I can no longer receive SBS (all other channels
seem fine).

We have tried re-tuning SBS, etc, but can't get any signal.

I speculated maybe SBS has changed something, but this would be quite a
coincidence.

Any ideas?
