[mythtv-users] XMAME and MythTV / Gnome

Anyone else got any thoughts on what is causing my problems with XMAME?  The
problem I now have is that the screen is split diagonally and refreshes /
flashes every .5 of a second.  

Thanks for any pointers or assistance.

I tried the suggested parameters and it's 'better'.  However, now I have the
screen split diagonally (top right to bottom left) and a scrolling refresh
out of sync between the two halves.

Any thoughts?

just for kicks, try xmame -fullscreen -vidmod 2 -nocursor -skip_gameinfo
$ROMNAME

specifically, I suspect that the '-vidmod 2' parameter is what you want to
change so that it will use OpenGL.

if your xmame options differ slightly, do 'xmame --help |more' and read
carefully.
