Hi Aaron/Hartmut,
I looked at the individual channels and it appears that the channels.conf
produced by tzap is not fully utilised by MythTV during the import.
As you both suggested, the channels.conf info was the heart of the problem.
Within MythTV manual creation or modification of channels, appears to be
necessary; even though the ultimate settings are the same as the
channels.conf that I originally imported.
Picture is excellent and driver is stable!

I manually enetered the transports and scanned using known transports without
success, but have not specified each channel.
I'll try entering each setting individually tonight and see how I go.
