Hi,
I have a PVR-350, and get an "Unable to initialize video" message when
trying to watch tv. On the command line, it shows "No XvMC" found.
This also happens when trying to watch recorded video.
I saw this post,
http://mythtv.org/pipermail/mythtv-users/2004-November/062960.html
But, in "Hardware Decoding Settings", there's a checkbox for "Use
hardware XvMC MPEG Decoding". This is NOT checked. (Neither is the
"use pvr-350's tv out").
I'm have installed:
mythtv-suite-0.18.1-55.at
mythtv-0.18.1-116.rhfc3.at
libmyth-0.18.1-116.rhfc3.at
My card seems okay because,
$ cat /dev/video0 > tmp
$ xine tmp
works file...
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Ken
