I just got a DCT2524 as a second cable box, the IR and Data ports on the back 
don't seem to work (and according to them the required internals aren't 
there, the lady send the command but no go...). So I'm looking at an 
http://www.irblaster.info and was wondering if anyone with this box has used 
this for changing channels and if there is anything I should know before 
going ahead with it?
