[mythtv-users] Video Source with no grabber

I've configured a video source with a single channel for use when 
recording from a VCR or whatever.  I've noticed that mythfilldatabase is 
being run for 14 days for the video source (as it never has any data).  
I had set up the listings grabber for the source to be the DataDirect 
grabber, but did not specify a user ID/password/lineup, thinking that 
would keep it from running.  Instead, mfdb still sends requests, and 
they receive 401's because of the invalid user ID/password.

I tried changing the configuration to see if there's an option for "no 
grabber", but there wasn't.  Is there any way to prevent mfdb from 
running for a video source, or are my only options creating a fake 
tv_grab_whatever script (that gives mfdb nothing) and patching Myth to 
provide a "no grabber" option in Video Source setup?
