I think this bit is wrong, it should be libviaXvMCPro.so.1 or whatever
the file for the pro is called.

But I don't think that's the problem. I had the same thing happen,
mythtv wasn't actually looking at the /etc/X11/XvMCConfig file but
instead was looking for it somewhere in it's home directory or /.

I made the following two symlinks to /etc/X11/XvMCConfig
~mythtv/.mythtv/XConfigDir/XvMCConfig
~mythtv/XConfigDir/XvMCConfig

and that fixed it. I don't know which one it uses, I didn't care enough
to try deleting one and seeing if that broke it.
