[mythtv-users] Upgrade to ALSA 1.0.11 - x86_64

I'm having issues with ALSA 1.0.10, kernel 2.6.15 for x86_64 and trying to
decide ont best course:

1) Install 1.0.11 in which case - how?
2) Rollback to 2.6.14 - seems painful, but how?

Keep in mind, I'm mostly doing these things via yum - can anyome help?
