If I go to http://localhost/mythweb I get

An error occurred while loading http://localhost/mythweb:
Connection to host localhost is broken.

If I go to http://localhost/mythweb/mythweb.php it works but the links don't 
work as they redirect to http://localhost/mythweb/<option> eg clicking on 
status will go to http://localhost/mythweb/status which gives

Connection to host localhost is broken.

Going to http://localhost/mythweb/mythweb.php/status OTOH works perfectly

I think either something is screwy with my rewrite settings or I've missed a 
setting or I've managed to break something while trying to get the previous 
bits working. :-/
