Hi again,
My sound problem is still hanging around. I had no problem with 0.18
and Axels RPMs but now I want to compile it myself. Does Axel make
some magic in his packages?
Is it something missing in my configure:
./configure --prefix=/opt/mythtv-0.19a \
--enable-xvmc \
--enable-lirc \
--enable-audio-alsa \
--enable-audio-oss \
--enable-audio-jack \
--enable-audio-arts \
--enable-opengl-vsync \
--enable-dvd \
--enable-dvb \
--enable-firewire \
--enable-ivtv \
--enable-joystick-menu \
--enable-proc-opt \
--enable-dts
I have tested with both /dev/dsp (that worked with 0.18.2) and
ALSA:default and one thing I have noticed when running ALSA:default is
that the image hacking a little and not with /dev/dsp.
Dist: Fedora Core 4
[mythtv at htpc ~]$ uname -r
2.6.15-1.1831_FC4
==========================================================================
When running MythTV with /dev/dsp I get this output:
