Hi Alastair,

I have a couple of suggestions that maybe helpful.  Firstly shutdown 
mythbackend before making changes in mythsetup.  Have a look at the logfile 
from mythbackend when turning in a channel.  It may tell you why your not 
getting a signal.  Try a different channel.

If you are really in Australia your much better off using a DVB-T card.  The 
picture is clearer, more channels and support for high definition.
