If you're editing that file, you'll probably also need to edit it for
the backend. If you start as yourself, you should be OK, but if you
start the backend as root manually then you need to
update /root/.mythtv/mysql.txt, or if you start it as a service, then
you need to update /.mythtv/mysql.txt (the above on Fedora at any rate).
