[mythtv-users] AVI to MPEG for MVPMC

Anyone know the magic options to transcode an AVI into a MPEG suitable for
watching with MVPMC? I've had some attempts which didn't work too well. I've
tried using transcode and ffmpeg but don't really know enough about mpeg/avi
to make sense of the myriad of options.
