[mythtv-users] firewire output to TV

Hi,

I have a samsung 5067W TV, and it has a firewire input
(and output) connection.  I'd like to send the mpeg 2
stream output by mythtv directly to the TV via
firewire and use the TV's mpeg2 decoder to display the
video.  I'm thinking that this will reduce the load on
my CPU, and this will come in handy when I eventually
upgrade my mythtv to record HD.  

Anybody know if this is a viable solution?
