I'm adding a pvr500mce in my myth machine which have a pvr350 that was
working ok.

everything is from yum install and jarod's guide. fc4 linux x68_64

my modprobe.conf is as follow

alias eth0 forcedeth
alias scsi_hostadapter sata_nv
alias char-major-61 lirc_i2c
alias snd-card-0 snd-intel8x0
options snd-card-0 index=0
options snd-intel8x0 index=0
remove snd-intel8x0 { /usr/sbin/alsactl store 0 >/dev/null 2>&1
|| : ; }; /sbin/
modprobe -r --ignore-remove snd-intel8x0
alias usb-controller ehci-hcd
alias usb-controller1 ohci-hcd
# ivtv modules setup
alias char-major-81 ivtv
alias char-major-81-0 ivtv
alias char-major-81-1 ivtv
alias char-major-81-2 ivtv
#alias tuner tuner-ivtv
#alias tda9887 tda9887-ivtv
#alias tveeprom tveeprom-ivtv
#alias msp3400 msp3400-ivtv
install ivtv /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install ivtv; /sbin/modprobe ivtv-
fb
install lirc_i2c /sbin/modprobe ivtv; /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install
lirc_i2c
options ide-cd dma=1

if I activate any line ***-ivtv I'll loose my 350 tv-out. It seems that
it must use the kernel driver to work. if it use the *-ivtv module, my
350 tv-out wont work.

My dmesg output is as follow:

both tuner are not set for the pvr500 so I need to upgrade my ivtv
driver. actually I run:

ivtv-kmdl-2.6.15-1.1830_FC4-0.4.2-101.rhfc4.at

ivtv-kernheaders-0.4.2-101.rhfc4.at

which one is working the best for these two cards combination
