For the archives, it is possible to move an install to a different
motherboard and hardware set without any real issue, assuming the hardware
in the new system is supported by the kernel you have installed. To move
from my nF2 to the ASRock 939Dual-SATA2 all I did was install a
2.6.15kernel and reinstall the nvidia graphics drivers (under .14
agpgart informed
me that there was an "unrecognized ALi chipset" and X failed to produce a
viewable picture over my TV Out).
