I love commercial detection, thanks for your work. One thing I’ve been
thinking about is whether it would be possible for a transcode type
process to put the detected commercials (and preferably have some scene
detection as well) in as chapters. So when your watching exported
programs if you hit the skip button you jump to the next scene or
advert, this would make it possible to export files for the Mrs without
having to actually watch / fine tune the comm detection, this will do
wonders for the WAF and would stop me from having to watch Sex in the
bloody City.
Do MPEG 2 or 4 files (probably in an AVI container) support chapters or
is that just DVD structures?
