I noticed it says "1. Use an external player such as Xine or Mplayer.
Both Xine and Mplayer offer DVD Menu support, bu tyou will need to do
some work to map your keys on your remote control so that they match
those for MythTV to make sure that there is no confusion i what keys
do what".

Are you sure that's correct about Mplayer supporting DVD menus? I
thought it didn't yet.
