As suggested by some of the links, I started looking for a 
contrib/channel_changers directory but there isnt one. In 
/usr/share/doc/mythtv-0.18.1/ there is a contrib dir and
some stuff in there for certain satellite boxes, so I will be playing. 
Trouble is, it is not here physically and that makes it hard to trial 
and error, but we will see. Thanks again, Peter
