[mythtv-users] mythtv frontend will not connect to backend

Answering my own email, but it may be of use to others. After hours of
troubleshooting and web searching, found for Suse 10.0, Edit
the  /etc/logindevperm and change the permissions for the video devices
from 0600 to 0660. This allows anyone in the video group to
access /dev/video0 even though the ownership changes with the login.
