Hi,
My system:
P4 2.8Ghz
1GB RAM
LeadTek DTV1000 HDTV Card
Soltek MB
Onboard audio
SUSE 10
Kernel 2.6.15
MythTV (Backend 0.19.20060121-2)
Compile options: --enable-dvb
--dvb-path=/usr/src/linux/include/linux/dvb/frontend.h --enable-xvmc
--enable-proc-opt
Have a reasonable knowledge of Linux, have been using on and off for
several years, but am not an expert......
My problem:
Watching live TV (haven't tried much else, as this is my 'goal' at the
moment) the picture is regularly faltering, as in approx every 1.5
second for something less than half a second. Doesn't matter if it's
Standard def or high def, although high is probably slightly worse.
Audio is OK (doesn't falter.)
Can use Kaffeine, and in general it is OK, does lock up occasionally
changing channels. All works fine in Windows, with the supplied software.
What am I doing wrong??
John.

The problem with the world is stupidity. Not saying there should be a
capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety
labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
