[mythtv-users] Install Help

Hello List,
I have reinstalled from scratch (Debian Sid) and reinstalled the 
required packages for mythtv. Unfortuantely I still cannot figure out 
where I have gone wrong.
It still complains that mythtv does not connect to the backend server.

I was hoping someone can throw me an early Christmas present and tell me 
where I have done wrong

Here is what I see when trying it out, I do NOT have my cable hooked up 
yet to this box

I have searched mailing lists for:

mythtv: could not connect to socket
mythtv: Connection refused

Any thoughts?
