[mythtv-users] Very slow GUI Response

I am getting very slow response from the GUI - on the order of a second or
two to move the selection from one item to the next in a menu or list after
pressing an arrow key, for example.

I don't think this is a graphics issue, as things like GLxgears and music
visualizations run fine, so it seems like a specific myth problem. And yes,
this is with a relitivley idle CPU, with no recording or transcoding going
on.

Any clue??
