[mythtv-users] Cable Quality component DVI HDMI ?

Hi All

Is there a quality difference when using component video cables vs DVI vs
HDMI?
I saw an HDMI cable package that claims it had a better picture quality over
the other two methods.
Are they not all carrying the same signals?
Are the signals Digital such that there should be no signal loss?
